Tony Ferguson speaks to Weston Turville Historical Society on the colourful history of a Buckinghamshire village church — a building that has quietly witnessed rebellion, regicide, medieval graffiti and, in the nineteenth century, the grim trade of the body snatchers.

It is a talk about how much history sits in an ordinary parish church if you know where to look: the marks scratched into the stone by people whose names are lost, the monuments to men who signed a king's death warrant, and the churchyard precautions taken against those who came at night for the freshly buried.

Talks like this one run for around fifty minutes with time for questions, and are available to history societies, U3A groups, WI, Probus, libraries, retirement villages and community groups.
